The Challenge
A large site in Swindon came to us looking for a secure way to manage access to the building. Their existing setup made it difficult to control who could access different areas and managing physical keys created unnecessary security risks and admin.
The client needed a solution that would:
- Improve site security
- Simplify access management
- Allow permissions to be updated quickly
- Scale as the site continued to grow

The Solution
We designed and installed a complete UniFi Access door entry system, connecting all entry points into a single, centrally managed platform.
What this project looked like in action:
- Installation of UniFi Access door entry hardware
- Integration across 40+ access points
- Configuration of user permissions and access rules
The Results
The new system has transformed how access is managed across the site.
Benefits include:
- Centralised control over all entry points
- Instant updates to access permissions without the need to get physical keys cut or returned
- Reduced admin for on-site teams
- A scalable system that can grow with the business
“The Door entry system installed by Echo, the installation went very well. Installation duration was on time and to a high standard. The entry system was integrated into the fire alarm system which was functionally tested and approved.
In terms of the Unify entry system itself, it’s exactly what we wanted. We can setup access to doors for individual users or groups.
We are very happy with Echo on this installation and the other works from Echo.”
Why UniFi Access?
UniFi Access provides a flexible, reliable access control solution that integrates with the sites existing network and IT infrastructure. This solution is well suited to organisations that need scalable, easy-to-manage security without unnecessary complexity.
This type of access control system works especially well for:
- Schools and education campuses
- Multi-site offices
- Warehouses and industrial facilities
- Public sector buildings
How we can help
Echo works with organisations to design, install and support access control systems that fit their site, security requirements and future expansion plans.
