The Challenge
The organisation’s existing network infrastructure no longer offered the level of performance, reliability, or flexibility required to support the demands of a modern workplace.
Staff increasingly relied on cloud-based applications, wireless connectivity, and digital collaboration tools and the legacy network environment was beginning to create unnecessary problems.
Alongside improving network performance and WiFi coverage across the head office, business continuity was also a priority. They needed a future-ready solution that would not only solve current challenges but provide a scalable platform for continued technology improvements.
The Solution
We designed and deployed a full network infrastructure upgrade built using Ubiquiti products and technology. We replaced ageing hardware with a faster, more reliable, cloud-managed networking environment.
The project included the replacement of four 48-port switches, a dedicated 8-port switch for the internal IT office, and seven new U7 Pro wireless access points to improve WiFi performance and coverage across the head office.
The installation was a perfect example of how we work collaboratively alongside the client’s internal technical team, ensuring a smooth deployment process during normal working hours with minimal interruption to daily operations.
To provide long-term support, the entire infrastructure was placed under Echo’s ongoing Network Service and Maintenance agreement, allowing the client to benefit from updates, configuration changes, warranty support, and continued technical assistance whenever needed.
The Outcome
The organisation now benefits from faster, more reliable WiFi that supports working requirements across the entire office. Improved connectivity equals improved productivity.
The recommended next step will introduce a centralised management environment, allowing the organisation to manage WiFi, door entry and CCTV from a single platform for even greater operational visibility and control.
