The Project
While working on a wider Door Access project for Dynamatics, Echo was asked to provide several additional CCTV and door access requirements that arose during the installation.
Because the team was already on site, we were flexible and able to incorporate the additional works into the existing project, providing a more complete security and access solution without the need for a separate installation.
Additional CCTV
Echo supplied and installed 8 additional CCTV cameras, including the required cabling, to provide increased coverage across the site.
Additional Door Access
The project also included additional access control equipment. We installed additional G3 Card Readers for key doors, gives users easier access while providing greater control over movement around the site.
We also supplied and installed a PoE siren, which provides an audible alert when the emergency ‘break-glass’ mechanism is triggered.
UniFi Access & Key Fobs
Alongside the additional CCTV and door access equipment, Echo supplied and installed the required Ubiquiti equipment and provided 100 UniFi key fobs to be allocated to the users on site.
The Result
By responding to the additional requirements while already on site, we were able to expand the original project and deliver further CCTV coverage and improved access control as the site’s needs developed.
The result is a more comprehensive and flexible security setup, with additional camera coverage, easier access for users and improved emergency alerts.
